Dreaming or Doing

As a creator, it's easy to question ourselves and wonder if we're doing what needs to be done.

Let's be honest; the answer is often no.

The Challenge

There have been so many times we've been encouraged to dream big. And as a creator, understand why we would want to dream big. And outline our goals and expectations as we plan to create our perfect journey to joy.

I hate to break it to you…

Considerations

You know, you have to create something before you can improve it.

It's a logical process.

We must consider how to improve the thing we are creating.

One thing I encourage everyone to think about is to stop dreaming and start doing.

You have to take action to decide what is working and what is failing to meet your expectations.

You cannot improve something when it's a dream.

Creative Content

Until you start creating, you'll have multiple thoughts and ideas. Then somebody will ask you what you're doing…

I'm busy planning and outlining my strategy. I'm busy. Doing something, however, more needs to be completed. When nothing is being tested, evaluated, or measured, improvement cannot take place.

So you have to think about how you can move forward with an outcome you can measure.

And the only way to do that is to produce something viable.

That's why you want to start doing and continue pursuing outcomes.

We must ensure that we're making progress on our goals and journey through life. As a creator, you have the opportunity to make a lot of mistakes and adjustments along the way.

However, you can measure and improve everything in today's digital age.

And it’s a good thing.

Conclusions

The biggest challenge is starting.

So the creative process is vital to understand that we can create anything from a blank slate.

And sometimes, not having anything started is the biggest challenge. And this is where we have to create systems, workflows, and frameworks to accomplish a goal.

Start Building, Measuring, Adjusting, and Improving.

Creating is the foundation of everything we do as a creator.

Build something. Get a response. And then improve that response and work to improve.
